I'm one of many children that will always remember Mrs Twort as one of the best, kindest and influential teachers to have touched thier childhood and lives. She taught me in year 5 as a painfully shy and bullied child Linda showed me such kindness and support. I remember meeting her with my dad for our intro meeting and she asked me about myself and I told her about my love for music. She was one of the first teachers to take a real interest and was always encouraging me. I was devistated when i had to move on to year 6. We remained friends on facebook all these years and it has been wonderful to remain connected in a small way with such a beautiful soul who clearly had soo much passion for education, love for their family and friends and joy for life. Ill never forget her kindness and send my love and condolences to her family.

I had the pleasure of being taught by the lovely ‘Mrs Twort’ in year 5 at elphinstone school. She was such a beautiful lady inside and out. I’m sure she will be terribly missed ❤️
